General Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SS Clothing Mills website, products, and services. By accessing our website, placing an order, or engaging with our services in any manner, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our website or services.
SS Clothing Mills reserves the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of or access to the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, buyers, and any other person who accesses or uses our services, whether as an individual, a business entity, or a representative acting on behalf of an organization.
Orders & Pricing
All orders placed with SS Clothing Mills are subject to the following conditions:
- All orders are subject to availability of fabric, yarn, and raw materials at the time of order confirmation.
- Prices listed on the website or communicated via quotation are indicative and may be subject to change based on prevailing market conditions, raw material costs, and exchange rate fluctuations.
- Final pricing will be confirmed at the time of order confirmation via official quotation or proforma invoice.
- Minimum order quantities (MOQ) apply to all fabric categories. MOQ varies by fabric type, GSM, and customization requirements. Please contact our sales team for specific MOQ details.
- An advance payment is required before production begins. No order will be scheduled for production without the requisite advance payment.
- Orders once confirmed and accepted by SS Clothing Mills constitute a binding agreement between the buyer and the company.
- Custom orders involving specific colors, GSM, width, or finish requirements may carry additional lead time and pricing adjustments.
Payment Terms
SS Clothing Mills follows a structured payment process to ensure smooth order fulfillment:
- Advance Payment: A minimum of 40% of the total order value is required as advance payment at the time of order confirmation. Production will commence only upon receipt of the advance.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 60% of the order value must be settled in full before dispatch of goods. No goods will be dispatched until complete payment is received and confirmed.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI, demand drafts, and cheques drawn in favour of "SS Clothing Mills." Cash payments may be accepted at our office premises for smaller transactions.
- GST: All prices quoted are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Applicable GST will be charged as per prevailing government rates at the time of invoicing.
- Currency: All transactions are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR) unless a separate agreement is made for international orders.
- Late Payments: Delayed payments beyond the agreed-upon timeline may attract interest charges and could result in postponement of order dispatch.
Delivery & Shipping
SS Clothing Mills endeavors to deliver all orders within the committed timelines. Please note the following delivery terms:
- Production Lead Time: Standard production takes approximately 15–20 working days from the date of order confirmation and advance payment receipt. Lead times may vary based on order volume, fabric complexity, and prevailing production schedules.
- Shipping Charges: All shipping and transportation charges are borne by the buyer and are charged separately over and above the fabric cost. Shipping costs will be communicated prior to dispatch.
- Mode of Delivery: Goods are dispatched via reputed transport agencies, courier services, or as mutually agreed upon. Buyers may also arrange their own transport or collect goods from our premises in Tiruppur.
- Transfer of Risk: The risk of loss or damage to goods transfers to the buyer once the goods are handed over to the transport agency or courier service at our dispatch point. SS Clothing Mills shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or delay caused during transit.
- Delivery Address: Buyers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. SS Clothing Mills is not liable for delays or non-delivery arising from incorrect or incomplete address details.
- Force Majeure: Delivery timelines may be extended in the event of unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government regulations, raw material shortages, or pandemics.
Quality & Returns
SS Clothing Mills is committed to delivering fabrics of the highest quality. Our quality assurance process includes:
- Lab Dip Approval: For custom color orders, a lab dip sample will be provided for buyer approval before bulk production commences. Production will proceed only after the buyer provides written approval of the lab dip. Any delays in lab dip approval will proportionally extend the delivery timeline.
- Color Matching: While we strive for the closest possible color match, all fabric dyeing is subject to industry-standard tolerance levels. Slight variations between lab dip samples and bulk production batches are inherent in the textile dyeing process and do not constitute a defect.
- Quality Claims: Any claims related to fabric quality, defects, or discrepancies must be raised within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of receipt of goods. Claims raised beyond this period will not be entertained.
- Claim Process: Quality claims must be accompanied by photographic or video evidence of the defect, along with the invoice number and lot details. Our quality team will review each claim and provide a resolution within a reasonable timeframe.
- Custom Orders: Fabrics manufactured to custom specifications (including custom colors, GSM, blends, or finishes) are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has been completed as per the buyer's approved specifications.
- Standard Tolerances: GSM tolerance of ±5%, width tolerance of ±2 inches, and shrinkage within standard industry norms are considered acceptable and do not qualify for claims or returns.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that business requirements may change. The following cancellation terms apply:
- Before Production: Orders may be cancelled before production has commenced. In such cases, the advance payment will be refunded after deducting an administrative processing fee of 10% of the advance amount, or ₹5,000 (whichever is higher), to cover procurement and scheduling costs already incurred.
- After Production Begins: Once production has commenced — including yarn procurement, dyeing, knitting, or finishing — the order cannot be cancelled under any circumstances. The buyer will be obligated to accept delivery and make full payment for the order.
- Partial Cancellation: Partial cancellation of an order is not permitted once production has begun for any part of the order batch.
- Refund Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed within 15–20 working days from the date of cancellation approval, to the original payment method or bank account of the buyer.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- SS Clothing Mills shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with the use of our products or services.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, our products, or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the buyer for the specific order giving rise to such claim.
- SS Clothing Mills makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the suitability of fabrics for any particular end use or application. Buyers are responsible for conducting their own testing and due diligence to determine the fitness of fabrics for their intended purpose.
- We shall not be held liable for any variation in fabric appearance when viewed under different lighting conditions, on different screens, or in different environmental settings.
- SS Clothing Mills is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the buyer's failure to follow care instructions, improper storage, or mishandling of fabrics after delivery.
